This is "The Duke" the official football of the NFL. What is it doing on a volleyball website? In 05 or 06 I was out in California looking forward to a day of volleyball at Hermosa Beach. One of the guys pulls out a football and so ten volleyball players are playing sand football all day long.

A few years back one of our local NFL franchise's back up quarterbacks was a Vballer. He threw a football around to warm up the shoulder before playing. Most volleyball players are multi sport athletes so many may just like the feel of a quality football. I wanted to toss one around again and my old ball (I won't say how old) doesn't hold air anymore.

The NFL Football retails for a lot more than it did back in the day, but you do not have to pay retail here. How long will we have footballs? We will see how it goes. Get yourself one and go run some routes based on bikini geography, just like they do in the beach movies.
